Full-time: 4 roles available (see advert for details)

sportscotland is the national agency for sport in Scotland. Our vision is an active Scotland where everyone benefits from sport. Our goal is to be inclusive by design.

Are you passionate about driving real and positive change within Scottish sport? Do you have demonstrable experience working with partners and stakeholders? If so, this might be the next role for you!

We are currently looking for Partnership Managers to join our Sports Development team, who will influence, inform and prepare partners to work towards our vision, including local and national partners such as local authorities, leisure trusts and Sport Governing Bodies.

We are recruiting for three full-time, permanent positions and one full-time, fixed term position (fixed term for up to one year). We have a range of posts deployed across work areas within Sports Development, so you could be aligned to one of the following: Governing Bodies, Coaching and Volunteering, or School and Community.

You will have an understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion and be able to actively demonstrate this in your role. Ideally you will have a passion for sport, however, we welcome applications from a variety of candidates who do not have sporting experience but feel their background has transferrable skills for this role.

As Partnership Manager, you will create and develop innovative and forward-thinking partnerships with a range of bodies such as SAMH and ENABLE, so we are looking for someone who is able to add real value, with significant relationship management and business management experience at a strategic level.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can communicate with and directly influence a broad spectrum of key partners and stakeholders both internally and externally. You should also have demonstrable skills in leading and managing projects and change management programmes.

In return for the above, we offer employee benefits such as flexible working, generous holidays, Cycle2Work, fantastic discounts, a great pension scheme (19.3% employer contribution), support with your professional development and much more.

Please apply online and attach your CV and covering letter detailing why you meet the requirements.

We are a Disability Confident employer. If you have any difficulties with your application because of a disability please contact hr.recruitment@sportscotland.org.uk and we will discuss how we can help you.

Closing date for completed applications: 11 April 2023
